Run for fun! We are very excited to host the
Run in Texas women's run. We welcome these lovely
athletes to this amazing and beautiful part of Texas during the
6th Annual Blanco Lavender Festival. Runners receive, tech shirt
guaranteed by signing up before 5-26-10, great course with male
servants at water stops, post race champagne brunch. After the
race the ladies enjoy breakfast with champagne or mimosas, great
music, free massages, shopping for lavender products, and
wonderful classes on making your own spa and culinary products. For more information go to

Come see a unique array of highly talented
Hill Country Artists who will be on hand to show their work and
share the visions that are their inspiration .
We will feature artists from the local area who have created one
of a kind pieces to enhance the beauty of the outdoor world.
Many of these artist will be teaching classes on the farm in the
coming year. We will have a schedule of available classes for
early registartion.
There will be displays of wind art, garden statues, water
features and more.
Many items will be for sale, some are the artist own favorites from
their collections. Pottery, sculpture, paintings,
hand woven baskets,
jewelry and garden art will be available for your shopping

Workshops with Essential Oils
Make a body mister,
massage oil or hand soap using your own custom blended scent.
We will offer instruction, materials and a wide variety of
essential oils to choose from including lavender. These
projects are quick and range in price from $5-$18. Watch us demonstrate the
art of distilling lavender essential oil from the lavender
flowers. We will run the still several times each day.

Culinary Lavender
Hands on Workshop with Sibby Barrett
Sibby now brings her culinary
passions to the Texas Hill Country. In 2001, shortly after her
ranch home, Juniper Hills Farm, was completed, Sibby began
facilitating Yoga retreats and cooking weekends. In her own
“Onion Creek Kitchens”, she now offers a full curriculum of
cooking classes. She is currently authoring a cookbook of
collected class favorites and has a
line of food products
under the "Onion Creek Kitchens" label. Sibby will be on the farm on
Saturday morning from 10am-3pm doing ongoing instruction for the
